REGISTRATION RIDE4U
You already installed Urby on your (Service) iPhone and you are registered with your BMW email?
Then you can simply log into RIDE4U with your Urby credentials and off you go!
You do not have an URBY account yet?
Register first via the app with your official email address and activate your account via the link in the sent welcome email within 14 days.
You don't have an official email address?
Then register in the app with your private email address, additionally enter your first name, last name, department and Q number according to your information in BMW contacts (employee directory) and activate your account via the link in the welcome email within 14 days.
If you receive an error message when creating the account, please check the correctness of your data according to your information in BMW Contacts (employee directory).
After entering your data correctly, you will receive an e-mail from us after we activate your use for RIDE4U.
You can now use the RIDE4U ride-pooling function.

How does RIDE4U work?
From now on, you can create carpools via RIDE4U for the way from home to work or between BMW locations. Whether you're having fixed time shifts or flexible shifts, using the work phone, or your private mobile device, all options are possible. The function is currently only usable as a pilot for Munich area. An extension to other locations is planned. Instructions for using the RIDE4U function can be found here.
How can I book a trip via RIDE4U?
The coordination on sharing a journey takes place directly between the driver and the passenger. It is not possible to book via the app. The app only provides the email address for the contact.
What if the driver or passenger cancels at short notice?
If the driver or passenger cannot do the trip at short notice and the shared journey cannot take place despite the prior agreement, then the driver or passenger is obliged to inform the other directly. In case of cancellation by the driver, it is the passenger's own responsibility to find an alternative (via RIDE4U, public transport, etc.) to the planned journey.
COSTS
How much does it cost to use RIDE4U?
The contribution for the RIDE4U ride is determined by drivers and passengers.
It is allowed to share the operating costs incurred for the journey and to charge a corresponding contribution to the costs. However, drivers must not charge a higher contribution than the actual operating costs incurred for a journey and thus not make a profit, with the driver having to bear the own share of the costs incurred by the journey.
NOTE for CCx users: Drivers using a CCx (formerly FKD) vehicle for the RIDE4U journey may NOT require a payment.
To whom do I have to pay the cost of the RIDE4U trip?
The cost contribution must be paid to the driver.
